Knight for a day
Book a children’s party at Bohus Fortress and arrange your very own guest party together with your friends! The party can be booked with or without knight school.
In the knight school, the children learn how to become a knight, they get to try armor parts and hold real swords. They then get to learn fencing like a real knight together with one of our hosts. The party ends with coffee or food that you adults take with you, or order from us no later than seven days in advance.
The basic price includes that you get a place reserved for your company in Nya magasinet, an old food store from the Middle Ages where you can eat together. A barbecue is available to use for those who wish. For those of you who announce that you want to use the grill, barbecue accessories in the form of charcoal and lighter fluid are included.
At the fortress there are many activities to have fun with, you can of course both jump in the bouncy castle, try archery, ride a tournament horse on rails and much more. However, these activities are available to all our visitors, so they are not reserved only for the party guests.
If you want something really special at the party, you can book a couple of soldiers from Bohus Elfsborgh’s Caroliner who can then hold sword or sword lessons.
The basic price for a children’s party is SEK 1500 + 60 in admission per child. Knight school for one hour costs SEK 1,500 in addition. Two soldiers from Bohus Elfsborgh’s Caroliner cost SEK 2,000. Payment is made on site in the fortress’ entrance cabin. Admission also applies to accompanying siblings over four years. Two adults must be present throughout the party and their entrance is included in the price. The adults are always responsible for the children at the fortress.
Children’s parties can be booked at any time, but not earlier than one hour after opening. It must be ready no later than one hour before closing.
