Knights for a day
Book a children’s party at Bohus Fortress and organize your very own guest party with your friends!
The basic price includes a place reserved for your party in Nya magasinet, an old food storehouse from the Middle Ages where you can eat together, or in Ryssvalvet down by the pond. A barbecue is available to use for those who wish. For those of you who announce that you want to use the grill, barbecue accessories in the form of charcoal and lighter fluid are included.
At the fortress there are many activities to enjoy, you can of course jump in the bouncy castle, try archery, drive a torner horse on rails and much more. However, these activities are available to all our visitors, and cannot be reserved exclusively.
If you want to make the day extra special, you can book a knight to hold a knight school. In the knight school, children learn how to become a knight, they get to try on pieces of armor and hold real swords. They then learn how to fight like a real knight. New this year is the opportunity to book a time with our mascot the dragon. The celebration ends with coffee or food that you adults bring with you, or order from us at least seven days in advance.
Price children’s party:
The basic price for a children’s party is SEK 1000 for two hours. Knight school costs SEK 500 in addition. Payment is made on site in the fortress entrance hall. Two adults must be present throughout the party. The adults are always responsible for the children at the fortress.
Children’s parties can be booked at any time, but no earlier than one hour after opening. It must be ready at least one hour before closing time.
